I’m always looking for new work to read with my English as a second language learners. Is there a particular chapter or other writing of yours that you think would be accessible? I will of course take a look myself but with other authors I’ve found that they’ve had something in mind.
Also, would you ever be interested in a collaboration on a live one day for my bookclub? I assume with camera off as you are in cognito? 🕵️♂️
hi lucy! i think the first chapter would work fine—or honestly, any chapter. many have said it’s quite simply written and i intentionally made it readable. there’s the occasional “dictionary” word but i even have book club questions so it seems to be great for your requirements! i’ll certainly be willing to chat anonymously. dm me and we can work something out if you find the book suitable

I’m ordering this now - grew up in Schenectady (Niskayuna) through age 12. Family (both sides) have been in Schenectady, Scotia, Troy since 1940s.
